Pouring Rain

I have been left with emptiness

Nothing to distract me

No one to discourage me

All I could hear is pouring rain

Accompanied by grey skies

I wish for it to never stop

The sound of rain occupies this vacant room

The rain never poured harder than today

When the day gets brighter and sunnier

Will no one shed tears next to me?

Will nothing fill in the void inside of me?

I have never been calmer.

At least that’s what I want to believe

Umbrellas pass by and even the bluebirds hide under the leaves

While I reach my hand to feel the rain
