Chasing but Not the Alarm Clock
for Saxophone Quartet
Description
Do you have an experience of intensely chasing something from your dream and you wake up from a hazy sound of an alarm clock? The piece is about that dream. It is about following something that was right close to you, however, somehow it is disappeared.
Scenes change back and forth between a sort of floating to exigent feelings. While you are floating, some kicks keep alarming you by saying something is not right. However, you keep traveling through time, through the dream, and through the story. The rapid object that you have been following unexpectedly appears back, and you again, strive and endeavors to find that thing by running and even flying. When you are finally about to reach it, it is the alarm clock that brings you back to the real world.
