About the Work
'Broken Waltz' evokes the nostalgic echo of an antique music box whose gears occasionally stumble and warp. The familiar three-four meter is stretched, interrupted by sudden pauses and poignant modal shifts. Recorded commercially by pianist Eun-Hee Park on her 2025 solo release.
