A Day in the City reached the final selection of the Women Composers Competition, 2022 edition (Femfestival), receiving a Special Mention.
A Day in the City draws upon a hectic city life. A jumble of sounds comes from all directions creating a lively and bustling atmosphere. However, the piece also shows wearisomeness that arises from the time spent at the city like a monologue. This piece is a collaboration project with dancers and a light engineer.
