Tom & Jerry 2021

The piece is about a cat and a mouse, or it could be any animals in the prey and predator relationship. In the piece, the cat and the mouse chase each other and run after one another with total energy and ardor. Sometimes they plan on a new idea and show off their brilliant quirk to each other. Sometimes they are worn-out and exhausted, and occasionally downhearted. However, they are so eager and desperate to get each other that the only thing they want to do and hope to achieve is to catch and run away. The piece is funny and humorous in that it brings out the bassoon's characteristics. Try to imagine what is going on in each section. Yaong-i means cat and Jwi means mouse in Korean.
