SiHyun Uhm won the U.S. Marine Band’s inaugural ‘Call for Scores’ with ‘Yearning for String Orchestra,’ to be premiered by the Marine Chamber Orchestra.
The President’s Own U.S. Marine Band announced SiHyun Uhm as the winner of its first ‘Call for Scores’ competition with her string-orchestra piece ‘Yearning’ — her first composition for string orchestra — to be performed by the Marine Chamber Orchestra.
