About the Work
Dancing in the Rainforest was composed during a residency reflecting upon ecosystem acoustics. Staccato water-drop motives in the clarinet and key-clicks on the flute interlock with pizzicato cello grooves, evoking a vibrant celebration amid a tropical downpour.
