Stirring of a Sparkle

Stirring of a Sparkle for violin and piano received 2nd prize in the high school division. Imagine the sparkle --- it is a conversation between the violin and the piano, portraying and expressing sparkle that is sometimes trivial and sometimes magnificent. Intertwined melodies add to the thrill and highlight the image of the 'Stirring of a Sparkle.' A contrasting part in the middle is more delicate and lyrical, and it is as though someone/something has tranquilized the sparkle. However, later the incessant sparkle comes back even more disquietingly. The piece ends with powerful repeated notes from the violin and energetic chords from the piano.
